There is a direct correlation between your level of happiness and joy and the relationship you have with yourself. The way in which you regard and speak to yourself, sets the tone for all other areas of your life. If you are stuck in the vicious cycle of negative self-talk and limiting beliefs, it will obstruct your health, relationships with others, professional growth, personal development and overall sense of well-being.


The relationship you have with yourself is the most important relationship you will have. It is the one that should be nurtured, incessantly cared for and cherished, every day.

The first step is to recognize and acknowledge the difference between fact and personal fiction.


Fact: Ultimate truths. A fact is what is true, in the present moment, without judgment, reaction or opinion. When you focus on fact you allow yourself to be exactly where you are, in a state of empowerment.


Personal Fiction: A story created from a sense of fear that keeps you stagnant and causes a sense of low self-worth. Personal fiction is a reaction to an emotional state that hinders your growth and progress. When you succumb to these stories you allow yourself to be caught in a vicious cycle of ruminating thoughts and anxiety.


The stories you tell yourself, positive or negative, create your view of the world and determine your personal potential. You always have the opportunity to grow by increasing your sense of self-worth.
